Country: Norway
Organization: Norwegian People's Aid
Closing date: 12 Mar 2023

Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) was founded in 1939 as the labour movement's humanitarian solidarity organisation. Our vision is Solidarity in Action, and we aim to improve people's living conditions and to create societies that are more just and more democratic. In Norway, we have around 14000 members, and in total 2500 employees working in more than 30 countries around the world. NPA’s core areas are International Development, Humanitarian Response, Humanitarian Mine Action and Disarmament, First Aid and Rescue Services and International Solidarity, Anti-Racism & Inclusion. In all our interventions, we continuously work to reduce our climate- and environmental impact.

The Development and Humanitarian Cooperation department of Norwegian People’s Aid supports local organisations across the world, in our efforts to create societies where power and resources are distributed more fairly. NPA works with local partner organisations in humanitarian response, and uses its own operational capacity as a leading mine action operator to provide protection against explosive weapons. Where there are few viable local alternatives for urgent response, we also provide direct humanitarian assistance.

Do you want to join our team and contribute to strengthening the strategic financing of our international work to fight inequality, increase democratic participation and our humanitarian response?
