Role: Video Content Producer – Internship
Duration: 4 February – 31 May, part-time (dates and hours are flexible)
Location: Oslo, Norway
Business for Peace is looking for a creative Video Content Producer (Intern) to create
video content to support the Foundation’s global communications strategy. This part-time role will
involve coming up with ideas for new content and seeing them through from filming to editing and
posting, and also working with archival footage. The Producer will work with a small in-house
communications team with international experience as well as external partners and freelancers.
This is an opportunity to be hands-on supporting a global digital campaign, brand strategy, and local
events. Business for Peace will provide the selected candidate with a monthly honorarium, transit
pass coverage, and lunch.
Tasks:
- Create short videos to be used for social media and web (video, sound, and editing)
- Edit archival footage to create new video clips
- Create gifs/animations to be used for social media
- Basic graphic design for website and social media (this is optional, depending on the selected
- candidate’s skillset)
- Additional tasks to support the Communications Team’s goals such as social media support
- or liaising with external partners, as required
- Requirements:
- Proficiency with video production, including filming and editing
- Good communication skills with an ability to develop and present strong narratives
- Graphic design (not required, but an asset)
- Excellent English skills, oral and written; good understanding of Norwegian is an asset
- Good collaboration skills, ability to think strategically and innovatively
- Project management and problem solving skills
